Our First Reunion MIAMI, FLORIDA 1969
The first family feast was at the home of Mr. and Mrs. General Williams on August 13, 1969. The second feast was at the home of Mrs. Leeomia W. Minnis and Mrs. Julia Boyd Williams, August 14, 1969. In August 15, we were on Miami Beach for a picnic. We returned to the Beach Saturday night for the banquet, held at the famed Barcelona Hotel on Collins Avenue. The closing was held at the Mt. Hermon A.M.E. Church, Rev. G.M. Champion, Pastor. Rev. Henry R. Delaney delivered the 11 a.m. sermon and Rev. G. Lovelace Champion preached at 3 p.m.
