DETROIT, MICHIGAN 1979
The Detroit Branch was organized on October 9, 1979 and was host of the eleventh session on July 20-21, 1979; Rev. H.R. Delaney was elected president. The session was headquartered at the Detroit Plaza and the St John C.M.E. Church, pastored by Rev. Henry R. Delaney. The Saturday excursion took us to Windsor Ontario, Canada for a shopping spree and a picnic at one of the beautiful public parks. Sunday morning worship service was observed at the St. John C.M.E. Church and a delicious dinner was served in the church dining hall following the service.
