SAVANNAH, GEORGIA 1993
The twenty-fifth annual celebration, our Silver Anniversary, July 9-11,1993, was hosted by the Savannah Branch, The Rev. Dr. Henry R. Delaney host, president. In addition to the regular annual business meeting, a seafood feast was held at the Henry R. Delaney Social Hall. Our Special guest included Chancellor Choir #2 of St. John C.M.E. Church, Detroit, Michigan. The Rev. Tony Curtis Henderson, Pastor. The annual picnic was held at Gulfstream Recreational Facility. A buffet setting was arranged. Georgia watermelons and fresh alberta peaches garnished the tables. The banquet was held at the Henry R. Delaney Social Hall with Chef Samuel Gardner, of the Hilton Chain in charge. Ice carved praying hands by Chef Gardner was the center of the decoration. The Sunday worship was at St. Paul C.M.E. Church. The Rev. Chestina W. Delaney delivered the message. The Silver Anniversary will be long remembered.
