NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE 2002
The Friday night family meeting was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Todd E. Haddock. A delicious meal was served, including soft, tender lamb, cooked by Rev. Henry R. Delaney. Although it rained most of the weekend, the family remained focused on its purpose – a spiritual uplift together. Saturday’s picnic was cancelled by the Nashville Branch, but the group resorted to Plan B, and delivered the picnic meals to the hotel. The banquet was held at the Maxwell House, overlooking all of Nashville from the Crown Plaza Ballroom. Sunday morning worship service was held at Gordon Memorial United Methodist Church, Rev. Daniel M. Haynes, Sr., pastor. The morning message was delivered by the Rev. Dr. Leeomia Kelly, Presiding Elder of the Bahamas, A.M.E. Church. The weekend was enjoyed by all.
