NEW YORK/NEW JERSEY, 2011
The forty-third Williams Family Reunion was hosted by the New York/New Jersey Branch in New York City, NY, Mrs. Ann M. Jones Cheatham, host president. The Friday night business meeting was held at the Courtyard by Marriot New York LaGuardia Airport. Immediately following the business meeting was games and cards with prizes for the winners. Saturday morning, we had breakfast at the hotel, followed by a bus tour of Manhattan, including a tour of African American Buria Grounds. The Saturday evening family photo event, banquet, music/dancing and social time was held in the banquet/hospitality room at the Courtyard by Marriot Hotel. Sunday morning began with breakfast at the hotel followed by an inspirational Sunday morning message given by Rev. George L. Champion, Jr. The family had a wonderful time and thanked Mrs. Ann Cheatham for hosting such a memorable event.
