SINGER ISLAND, FLORIDA, 2015 The forty-seventh annual Williams Family Reunion was hosted by the South Florida Branch, led by President, Mrs. Joycelyn Jenkins Thomas. The Headquarters was at the Hilton Singer Island Oceanfront Hotel. The business meeting was held at the host church, Hurst Chapel AME, Riviera Beach. FL. The business meeting was followed dinner, lots of fun, happy times, and giveaways for both adults and children. Back at the hotel, the family members continued 'on-your-own activities. Saturday morning, a great cook-out was held at the John D. McArthur Beach State Park. On Saturday night, the annual family banquet was held at the host hotel, with Mr.Edward and Mrs. Cassandra Tolbert Thomas as Master and Mistress of Ceremonies. as well as Family of the Year. The banquet was complete with buffet soul food, awe-inspiring talent. Let's not forget the wonderful "Lift Every Voice and Sing", tribute. The family members danced afterwards with music provided by our own DJ, Mr. Ralph Williams. The card-playing and dancing continued well after the banquet.Sunday morning worship was held at Hurst Chapel AME Church, with the esteemed Rev. Dr. Chestina Mitchell Archilbald delivering an inspiring message. A catered meal was enjoyed by all in the Fayson-Mitchell Center of Hurst Chapel, after the worship service. What a "Happy Time"!
