ATLANTA, GEORGIA, 2018 The 50th Golden Reunion was hosted by the Metro-Atlanta Branch, with Mrs. Patience C. Mitchell as host president, and a fantastic team of loyal family members. The host hotel was the fabulous Marriott-Marquis, Atlanta. The annual family business meeting was held at the host church annex, the historic Big Bethel AME Church, located on Sweet Auburn Avenue, with the National President Lynita Mitchell-Blackwell, presiding. The children enjoyed a fun time in the the game truck as the adults conducted the business. Election of officers was held, and a host branch presented a financial report. The Memorial service was conducted by the Chaplain, Elder Mark Marcus. Afterwards, a delicious catered meal was served, and the family members returned to the host hotel suite for a fun reception. On Saturday morning, the family gathered at Coan Park, where all enjoyed a wonderful cook-out, games, family tree review, and recognition of high school and collage graduates. That evening, family pictures were taken, and the 50th Golden Banquet was held and celebrated at the Marriott-Marquis Ballroom, with Mr. V. T. and Mrs. Miriam White Williams serving as Master and Mistress of ceremonies. Rev. Dr. Mark and Mrs. Inola Marcus and family were presented as Family of the Year. Rev. Valerie L.
