ATLANTA, GEORGIA 2022 The entire family came together to host and execute in love Getting Back to Family Business, the Return of the Williams Family Reunion! Friday night, held our business meeting and enjoyed delicious cuisine at Golden Corral Buffet. We also held our elections, where the following officers were elected: President Edward Thomas, Vice-President Colleen Nix, Secretary Lovetta Thompson, Treasurer John Jenkins, Chaplain Rev. Mark Marcus, and Historian Batryse Rollins. Afterward, we played games and welcomed new family members. On Saturday, we enjoyed a wonderful cookout at the beautiful Hunter Park facility and that evening we returned for our Luau Themed Banquet, where Jessica Thomas Zacharie and Aaron Thomas delighted us as MC's. We recognized Batryse Rollins and son Ian as our Family of the Year for the incredible contributions to the Reunion, and enjoyed delicious meal catered by Auntie's Baked Goodies, owned by our own Patience Champion Mitchell. Sunday, we worshiped at Big Bethel AME downtown Atlanta where cousin Rev. Ann Champion Shaw preached a mighty word and hosted the book signing for her bestselling book Worth, and we enjoyed another scrumptious meal by Auntie's Baked Goodies before we said our good byes until next time.
