MIAMI, FLORIDA 2024 The 54th Family Reunion "Miami Splash!" was held in Hallendale, FL, hosted by the South Florida Branch and led by President George Kilpatrick. The Friday night meeting and dinner, and Saturday brunch celebration were held at the Cultural Center Auditorium. Friday night, the following officers were elected: President Colleen Nix, Vice-President George Kilpatrick, Secretary Erica Thompson, Treasurer John Jenkins, Chaplain Rev. Brian Blackwell, and Historian Lynita Mitchell-Blackwell. The talent displayed at the celebration by our young people was outstanding, the historical archived presented by the branch historian Velda Virgil was breathtaking, and food catered by R&H Seed Food Catering was delectable. The Sunday service and repast were held at the Hampton Inn Hotel, Rev. Dr. Lynita Mitchell-Blackwell preached a mighty word, sending everyone off with good feelings and ready for next year.
